Beef Magnet was originally formed back in 1994 in the heart of Issaquah WA by Leo Witherspoon and Chet McAllister. The two musical geniuses met at a Mentalness show at the Kent Community Center. After watching Mentalness and Slapping the Vein perform (rather poorly, at that), they decided to form a heavy metal super group.

The name Beef Magnet was decided on before any other members were recruited. Beef Magnet just seemed to symbolize everything the band was about, and filled the void that was at the center of the Western Washington buttrock scene. It stands for strength, power, diligence, and of course, chicks.

Leo played the guitar and Chet played the drums. Soon Richter Semensplat and Schlang McKracken joined the band to fill the bass and rhythm guitar slots. Everything seemed to be falling into place. In the first two weeks the songs Beef Magnet (the theme song), Metal Metal in Your Face, Rip Your Bloody Face Off and Give Me My Boots Back you Bloody Bitch had all been written and recorded. World renowned promoter/producer Shawn Costello soon to notice of the band. He wanted them to travel all the way to Fife to play a big concert.

On the way to the Fife show, the Trans Am flipped and Richter and Schlang were thrown from the car and were instantly killed. Leo went into a downward spiral of depression and gas. He eventually moved to Roy WA with his old lady stripper to hide away from the spotlight and Chet continued to play the Kent metal circuit with such bands as Sexpants, Codpiece, and Scrotul Fear.

Now, in glorious 1999, Beef Magnet has re-emerged, rested and ready to rock. Leo and Chet have recruited world famous bassist Brett Beef and guitarist Roger Magnet to join them in bringing real rock back to Seattle and the surrounding counties. Better hide your daughters!!

UPDATE!!!!

Beef Magnet is back in 2002!!!

Apparently there are some bastard bitches out there who are posing as true Seattle beef. They ripped off the BEEF theme from us and are trying to fill the void that was left when Beef Magnet went on hiatus. Well, they can pack it up and go home now cause the boys are back and ready to take Seattle by storm like they did in 1994, 1999 and 2000.
